The Sorcerer. Stands between the living and the dead. Knows the beginning and the end of all things upon the earth and all things beyond the earth. Conjures the spirits and sends them forth ? for good or for evil.

Centuries ago Leo was awakened to the clashing of steel as men fought to the death in his field. No longer mindful of scavenegers and crows he watched as the good man killed his servant then perish by his own hand.

The two were buried side by side the same day.

When the moon rose long after the mourners had gone, Leo left his field and went to the churchyard. As he stood between servant and master his old life slowly crumbled into the fresh earth.

Sometime later, when the singing of the long dead had ceased, and the invocation was complete, a figure passed silently and swiftly through the gates.
